Tips to Create Massive Vapor Clouds

Vaping has been around for awhile now, but lately, vape aficionados are taking the activity to a whole new level. Cloud chasing, or trying to blow clouds as large as possible, is taking off as a hobby and even as a competition, with tournaments, prizes, and fans. Serious cloud chasers can blow clouds up to several feet in length. Like a lot of things in life, there’s a certain skill to cloud chasing, and a little knowledge can go a long way. Here are some tips to create the biggest clouds possible the next time you try cloud chasing.

Use an e-juice with a high VG content.

E-liquids contain both vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). While those who are new to vaping are often told to start with an equal blend, experienced vapers who are getting into cloud chasing should use a VG-heavy e-juice, as it will create denser, larger clouds. All our e-juices come with adjustable VG and PG levels, so just select “MAX VG” the next time you’re ordering.

Find the right airflow.

Not enough airflow could lead to your mod overheating, which is potentially dangerous. However, too much air coming in will negatively impact the size of your vape clouds. The key is to find that happy median where your device won’t overheat but you’re still getting as large clouds as possible. It might take a little trial and error to find the setting that’s perfect for your mod.

Breathe slowly.

Obviously, part of the skill of cloud chasing is a function of lung capacity, and you can’t change your genetics. That being said, you can learn to breathe in a way that’s more conducive to blowing massive clouds. The more slowly you exhale while cloud chasing, the larger your clouds will appear and the longer they’ll take to disperse. Work on breathing as slowly as possible while you vape and see the difference it makes.

There’s a reason why cloud chasing is becoming a popular hobby, and why there are real cloud chasing tournaments with prizes. It’s because cloud chasing is a skill: an activity you can practice and get better at. If you’re serious about becoming a top cloud chaser, you’ve got to put in the time and effort. But what better way to improve at something than by doing something you already enjoy, like vaping?
